So once again I've forgotten to update this bloody thing. I'm a horrible blogger when comes down to it lol. I try and remember to do this, but then I get distracted with either something ingame or irl that makes me forget my original intentions of posting on here.
So as for my updates as of late I finally finished my WHM and its currently 75. And so far I really love the job. Its very interesting job and one I didn't expect to like at first. My original plan was to lvl it just for certain situations, but then it actually became a job I really do enjoy and have fun playing. And I have discovered just how much fun it is to play WHM/NIN in campaign with hexa Strike. I've already planned a ws setup for it too >_>;. I also didn't realize that for even just what I took as a simple healing job it really does have alot of variety of gear it needs and makes good use of. I can't wait to have it fully merited. Then again when I stop procrastinating I can't wait to fully merit all my jobs lol. I've been working on it bit by bit tho.
Finally got sea access! I was pretty excited about it and had fun during the fights up to it. I got to NIN tank Airship fight which was awesome. I did die a few times, but otherwise it was a blast. My boyfriend had to remind me tho that it wasn't as tough as it was when he did it >.<. My little bubble burster reminding me that when he did everything it was always so much harder/tougher. I was amused that barely 5 mins. into being in sea 3 the other 3 guys I was with all died due to a UFO. Whereas I didn't wonder around alot poking everything and getting myself killed :P.
I've been trying to raise a chocobo again. See the first one I tried didn't work out too well as I didn't fully understand all the things that needed to be done to take care of one. This one I am trying to raise as a Racer and I'm hoping I'm doing right so far. I've been working on getting its STR and END up as fast as possible, but im trying to get his other 2 stats up just a bit as well for when I have to teach him gallop and canter. I am kind of confused as some guides I've read say to just concentrate on STR and END and get it up first then work on other 2. And some recommend on getting other 2 up first then STR and END. So I'm trying to combine both the strat's together. I wont be terribly upset if this one doesn't end up with awesome stats in the end, as I plan on breeding it with a friends bird who has some amazing stats. I do hope its born with some form of color besides yellow tho XD. I got a black female card from the bf and a black male card from my friend so im keeping my fingers crossed.
And finally just been working on lvling up Clothcraft. I finally found a craft I can stick with and enjoy actually. And so far its been interesting and actually has return back some the gil I've put into it. I'm trying to understand what all other crafts I will need for subs for it, and trying to find a decent guide worth using. So far I've discovered the pains of getting Saruta Cotton from NPC. I swear that its almost always out >.>.
Thats bout it really. I'm just trying update and blog while cleaning.

Cracking out the levels
So since my last post quite few things been happening for me.
I finally finish 3 paths in CoP. Was beginning to think I'd never ever get that done. But thanks to my boyfriend, and some friends I knocked it out in like 2 days. Now I have to stop procrastinating and finish the rest of CoP. And work on my ToAu as well. I guess I should started doing these a long time ago, but I was never one for doing missions. I'm lazy cat lol.
Also been working on taking my WHM to 75. I went from having it 37 to 63 within last few months. I'd had it done sooner, but I've been duoing between lvling it, capping xp on RDM, and lvling DRK. And of course the endgame events I do and well...that thing they call real life. Some point I have to go out and adventure in it. Specially for work. Have you ever caught yourself wishing you could farm money irl as easy as you can ingame? I do that all the time. Or I end up using ingame terms for stuff I do irl. I've actually caught myself saying im going to wc. That or when I get crappy customer at work I keep thinking I've aggroed and wish it'd go away >.>.
Realized I havent posted much bout me, the player behind Nindo and kinna would like to blog bout that some too. My name is Cherish, tho I'm so use to being called Nindo now that its almost a 2nd name I answer too. I'm 22, and currently living in Georgia, tho I'm thinking/debating making a move to Scotland within next year or so to be with my boyfriend. And yes I met him via this game. I have 2 tattoos and thinking of going onto #3. Such an addicting thing to get done too. I'm a geek at heart and love to read, play video games, watch anime. My biggest thing is reading though, as you'll almost always catch me with a book. Stephen King, Dean Koontz, Laurell K. Hamiliton, JK Rowling, pretty much anything and everything. I don't really have specific genre I like to read, I just like learning whatever I can. As for games, well of course FFXI. And I use to be addicted to Diablos, Starcraft, Beyond Good and Evil, and Bloodrayne. My boyfriend plans on having me play the other FF games as he thinks im fail for never playing them. And with anime, I'm addicted with a passion to Bleach, Naruto, Sora No Otoshimino, and Gundam Unicorn. Erm...I was never good at describing myself XD. I guess thats bout all I know to share really.
And as for ingame stuff thats all been going on. Been working hard on leading my new LS and having fun with all new members I've been getting as well new friends been making. So far its going really well. We're starting to get our own dedicated little group of people which is nice. I guess I got what it takes to be a leader after all lol. Also been trying to keep up with all FFXIV updates. I need to buy myself PS3 first before I make any plans on getting it ><, but I just cant resist not getting the game. I wanna finish more stuff for this one first, but I figure I wanna be able be part of the people just starting a game for once. Debating on which of the 2 Mithra (yes ima still refer to them as names from ffxi >.>) I'd want to be, the dark type or the sun type. I think in sense tho I'd like to stick to almost similar Nindo I have now. Just because im so use to her, and well like shes part of me and my personality. I'd just like her to be new, and similar at the same time. Can't wait to see tho what else they bring for the game. I'm already digging the whole ability create eye color, hair styles, etc. It'll be nice actually look bit different from the rest.

Leading My Own
So I've got a few new things since my last post. I got a friend of mine to make me Ebon Tights. Which are some pretty nice pants for NIN I've discovered. Until I can get Kitty Pants I figured they'd make a decent idle piece to use. And so far been pretty happy with them. I also got Valor Coronet for my PLD. I finally have something to wear besides the Wally Turban and the Iron Ram Sallet. I know it's not the best piece but it works for right now.
I did what I think was like my 5th attempt at tanking in Dyna and this time it went really well. Of course thanks to good teachers like Kitanna and Jacker who've been patient and guided me in understanding how to tank and whats the best stuff to wear. I think going to take me forever to remember what mobs are what kind of jobs tho lol. I always seem get them somewhat confused. But tanking city runs makes it kind of easier for me learn and remember them. I need to work on a better HP build and EMN gear for my pld tho.
And finally to title of my post. The LS I've been in for well over a year now is finally dying. It makes me incredibly sad because its been like my home. It was the first LS I fell in love with. And the one place I always was most happy. And well...it had all my friends. Who in the end became something like family. Even tho there was the usual drama, and fights, I still all in all loved that LS. Due to alot RL complications for the leader she had to take a break from the game. Which was hard because she was my best friend ingame and in real life. So not having her around was depressing at times. But it also taught me the lesson of running a very large social LS. She basically left me in charge to make sure everything went well. And then I realized that its one the hardest things to do. You have to be patient and listen to people whine and bitch about some the silliest of things. You have to guide people in the game, help them with missions. You have to sacrifice time and so much more to make sure your LS runs well. And I can thank her for teaching me all that and trusting in me to run her LS.
So me and her talked and I explained that I'd like to create a new LS and run it with our people. And I'm hoping that I can do it right. I'm scared because there is alot of potential to fuck up and go wrong. But I'm sure I can do this. I've got good friends who in my LS now and who back me up and listen. And their also my new PS holders who help me. I dunno what I'd do without them. And I hope my friend comes back to the game soon. Because every single day I do miss her. And I know now she can come back to the game just to relax and play for her for once. Instead having to give up so much of her time and her enjoyment.
I also discovered that because SE is silly and wont let me name my LS NintendoNinjas, I'm guessing due to copyright issues or something, I had to name is NentendoNinjas. I've had a few point out the obvious misspelling lol but trust me it wasn't planned. As for why that name? Well most people think of Nintendo when they see Nindo. And so its become a weird nickname of sorts. And well...I absolutely love Ninjas and everything about them. Also because Nindo means the way of the ninja or my ninja way in Japanese. Its a new start now for my LS and so far im pretty proud of it. We already did our first NM together, I got my good friend and one my awesome pearl sac holders Tidest his Joy toy. It has been a well deserved piece for him as hes helped many others get theirs and other things. I was glad to be able to be there for him to, and lol to be one that claimed Charby with Dia.
Here's hoping that this LS turns out to be best thing happen on Shiva ever. Or atleast make an impact for others as MM did for me. I'll miss MM because it was a home and introduced me to so many friends. Here's hoping I do everything right lol.

Ding!
So sleepy right now but so happy. As of 2/5/2010 I've finally dinged 75 NIN. I think that job has become my newest love. I've been working so hard on trying to get the right gear for it. I'm hoping that Byakko gives me some nice kitty pants soon. And earning towards my Perdu Blade slowly but surely. The party I dinged in was fun especially because my boyfriend who was my guru for NIN got to be there with me. Working on his SAM of course. So I finally have my 3rd 75. And im debating on whether I should get to work on merits now that I've procrastinated them for so long, or if I should just campaign them out. Because to be honest I absoutely hate most merit parties. Unless its with friends, or I have something to entertain myself with, I get so bored and after like an hour im ready to go. I can't play like some who can sit there for hours on end meriting.
I also got my Dryad's Staff finally for WHM. Soon as I can get a copy of the SS my friend took, ima post it up. It was my first nm I did on NIN so I was pretty proud myself. Of course was only 74 lol. Soon as I dinged 75 tho it was like I broke NIN in by going after the Dunes Boot NM and then heading to Savage Blade WSNM. And of course some pages in Terrigan to end the night. I can't wait til I get more haste gear. Im addicted to it now lol.
The new icon for my blog is a picture a good friend mine from the game drew. Her name is Nekonaoko and she drew a picture of me and my boyfriend's character together as a Christmas present. Im trying to steal his Ninja gear :X.

Mmmwhatcha say
Yeah random title since I couldn't think of something else interesting to put there. I've been on downloading craze lately trying get all sorts of music. Makes for more fun times when im playing so I dont lose my sanity. Especially like last night where we spent 6 hours farming Dio for Ulli. If wasn't for music, youtube, my boyfriend, and LS mates on vent I think I'd go gone crazy after hour 3.
So far I've got LAOS, Jimmy Eat World, Blind Melon, and The Fray. Makes for some decent music to listen to while playing the game. Before I moved I had this huge itunes library of like over 5000+ songs. And a playlist for basically when I played the game. Then I lost everything in the move -.-;. So now im back to re-building the list. But instead getting all the same stuff, I've been trying explore new music. And learn some new bands. Basically want something new and good listen to. Also really getting into William Fitzsimmons. Some of his stuff kind of sad, but most of it makes me really relaxed and happy.
Anyways onto game stuff. Not much has happen other than I dinged 73 on NIN. Not had much time to really lvl it due to being so busy with endgame stuff. Finally getting into camping HNMs some and im pretty excitied bout that. So far I've done Dark Ixion, Nidhogg, and Fafnir. And im digging it already! I'm trying to get my RDM ready for endgame stuff. And working on trying to finish meriting it. But I can't seem to make myself stay in merit parties long before I lose my mind over the boredom. I swear I have ADD when comes to that kind of stuff. I can focus on almost anything else, but if its boring and repeatitive, and I don't have something or someone to entertain me, I lose interest. I keep getting into merit parties only to want to leave like an hour later because im not entertained enough XD. Its bad when I can stay entertained if I got a good LS convo going, or when I can end up main healing, enfeebling, AND pulling in that party on RDM. >.> <.<. Hey it keeps me in party and myself entertained. And im not a half bad puller. Infact already been told I should start lvling BRD lol since I act like one in that sense.
Which of course is one the next jobs I want to try after I finish NIN and WHM. I've been intrigued by BRD for awhile. Well that and/or a DD job. I'm wanting to finally lvl my first DD job as well since everything I've lvled so far as been main healer or tank. Nothing really hardcore DDish. So I guess I'll decide when I get closer to finishing WHM. Or knowing me, just duo between BRD and another job. Thinking either SAM or DRK. Both look fun and interesting to me.
Doing Dyna-Xarca tonight so im hoping SE gods are kind and let the drops rain. I really want RDM and PLD, which im on list for RDM. Think im like #4 on that one. And PLD I'd just have to hope multiple drop for that XD. And some NIN be nice too. Maybe if I give alot cookies and prayers it'll rain relic tonight! I can hope right? Tho knowing my luck I'll do all that hoping, and go in and get like x50 bst and pup. I love my endgame/dynamis LS tho. Their the first LS I have ever got relic in. Already almost finished with RDM, and my WHM will ding into almost complete relic lol. And kind of funny that since they've been doing it so long and most people are 5/5 that I usually joke and say that they have the best dressed mannies of FFXI. My luck in picking the 2 jobs tho that have the lowest drop rate of them all XD.

Senjuinrikio = Mine!
Well after 15 tries, I finally got my Senjuinrikio to drop. I was so excitied about it finally dropping that I couldn't stop squealing. And then sad part was after 15 tries and it not dropping, it finally starts raining them >.>. I think someone in SE was laughing at me then lol.
Finally dinged 73 on NIN so im pretty happy. Im getting much closer to 75 and its driving me insane to be so close to it. Also been working on building up the ISP for Perdu, but im starting to realize its going to me awhile to get that one. I didn't think about how long its going to take to get that much ISP. But it'll be well worth it when I do finally get it. And im 10k into my goal so far. I figure I'll get NIN to 75, and then merit on RDM and that'll help. That or just get to work on lvling WHM since its at 54. Haven't quite decided yet, since I really need to finish meriting RDM and PLD and of course NIN. My only questions are what all im going to merit on NIN. I guess I'll figure out when I ding 75 and read up on it.
Kind of sad tho to hear that one of my good friends is quitting the game. I understand that people get bored with it after awhile, its just sad to see someone so nice and sweet go. I needs mah Senji
So I've been leveling NIN like crazy lately trying to hit 75. Got it to 71 right now, and I'm going insane its so close to 75 I can taste it. I've also been trying to pre-plan and get the gear I want for it for when I ding to 75. So far I've been working on getting Senji and earning the isp for Perdu Blade. And saving the gil up for the other things I'd need to buy off the AH. I've got a popset for Byakko so im hoping the kitty will be kind and drop me a nice pair of pants. This job has become like my new love, and I can't understand why other than I just really enjoy it. And it's been so fun to play, especially like in campaign. And I can't wait to start using it for other things, like helping my friends with NMs. I've even thought of getting the Relic Katana, especially after a friend told me today he wouldn't mind sponsoring me for it. Which of course made me go O.O.
Anyways yeah getting Senji to drop in ODS is a bitch. I did a total of 9 runs today and got every weapon to drop but that. But im discovering that ODS is even easier than RJ. I went with the mage method, and we were killing and finishing it in under 2 mins. First set of runs we did 2 rdm, 4 blm, and the kills were amazingly fast. And last 2 runs we did just 2 blm and 1 rdm and was still easy. From what I read its even soloable, tho im not sure I quite have the skill for that yet. And I'd be afraid to die and lose all those hard earned seals lol. Especially since sadly for me, they seem to come so rarely. I envy those who tell me their sitting on 1k worth of seals in their MH. Short of lvling BST I just don't see that happening for me.
And as of right now waiting on Dynamis-Xarcabard to get started. I'm hoping the SE gods will be kind, and drop like x4 RDM hat since im 4th on that list, and x3 PLD body. That'd make me one happy mithra indeed. And finally put me 5/5 on RDM. Here's keeping my fingers crossed!

Dance Dance Dance
So lately I've been leveling DNC for my NIN. Well not only for NIN, but for PLD as well when I want to go into campaign. And I dunno if its just me being weird, but I just haven't found much love for the job. I mean it's interesting job, and I like the fact that it can keep itself alive by merely its TP, but at the same time I haven't well...felt it liked grabbed my attention and kept me intrigued. Then again NIN started out that way for me too at first. It wasn't really that awesome til I hit 40 and got all the nifty job abilities and was really able to handle my own. And now that I can start subbing /dnc, its really becoming one my favorite jobs. My dancer is only 30 tho so I can't properly sub it with my NIN being 70, but it was still fun to test it out in campaign. For once I don't have to rely on npcs to cure me.
I know your probably thinking im strange. I love NIN/DNC, but I don't get into DNC/NIN. I know one my friend's already thinks im weird for it. In her opinion their both almost the same. But I dunno I don't see it quite that way. In a party im not the tank as DNC. I'm the somewhat dd, somewhat healer, and well somewhat enfeebler. As someone said in a ffxiah.com post I read, DNC is average in all those departments. They'll never be the best, but their average in each area. Which is how I see it. Maybe it'll get better tho if I decide to take it past 37. But right now I have alot on my plate trying to merit RDM and PLD, finish NIN, get to work on WHM, and then you add in the endgame I've been in, and helping to run a large social LS, and it seems like im always on the go and never with enough time to lvl a job for fun lol.
Thats really all I have to update on as I havent done much other than trying to lvl DNC, and with the craziness that comes with holidays I havent had much time to post or do anything. Which Santa was good to me this year! I got clothes, candy, perfume, video games, and well I guess you can say a shared PS3. Its almost sad that my own Mom got a ps3 before me. But then again shes just as much of a gamer as myself lol, and actually has played more FF games than me. And its currently playing God of War. Anyways time for me to go. I need to get back to lvling DNC and finally finish it up. I've been duoing with a friend of mine who just got back into the game, and im glad because I've really missed him. It was a funny story in that when I was first lvling RDM around in the jungle, I met him there. And he was lvl 70+ RDM. And he helped to guide me and explain the job, and PLed me. And we use to hang out alot. Well then he took a break from the game. And later came back for a bit while I was lvling PLD. And then he was gone again. But now hes back for good, and was shocked to hear that I now have 75 PLD, and working on NIN and WHM 75, he said I was growing fast lol. And now im the one teaching him things about RDM. And I took him to my dyna group to help get his Dynamis Sandy win. So this week has been pretty good for me, considering I got to see an old friend. And been duoing and catching back up on all that missed time. Welcome Back Sojobo! And your not allowed to leave ever again.

Eeep Update!
So I realized its been a long long time since I posted an update. Mainly just been distracted with alot going on in real life and game, and not thought about this blog sadly. So now that im getting back to my free time I'm hoping I can get back to blogging. I also finally bought a copy of FFXI for my nifty new laptop. Now whenever I stop being lazy and buy a ps2 controller converter I'll actually play it on there. Because sadly I tried to learn how, and I dunno if its the almost 3 years of playing on PS2, or that I just suck, I cant seem to understand how to play on the laptop lol.
Lots of updates to make though since I last posted on here. Currently sitting in sky right now with my endgame ls, Lords of the Universe. And since im still trying to learn my way around, I figured I'd take the time to blog. So heres some the stuff happen:
~A good friend of my quit the game sadly :/ Though of course RL is always > than the game and he has a new married life to enjoy now. I'll miss him greatly. He was one the people inspired me to become a PLD and to hopefully someday play PLD as good as he did. Infact he actually helped me get my PLD AF in the Shitadel. We were there to 3 AM trying get key and then the coffer. And of course with my luck, my coffer appeared in the very back. And no one else I knew was on to come help open the gates so me and him spent most that night just randomly waiting on people coming by so we could get thru. I'll never forget his kindness though, and how he always was willing to help and teach. I'll miss you Havian <3.
~I finally got around to properly pimping out my RDM and PLD. Though im almost broke from doing it and still no where near finish sadly. And im starting to think I need to invest in getting Security Token for that handy mog satchel >.>;. I'd give anything for SE to make a strap that would encompass all the Elemental straps so I'd be able clear some space for that lol. But til then, carrying a full set of those seems be what takes up most my room. And of course finally got all HQ staffs cep for Light and Fire, neither of which I'd ever have use for. I got my Witch's Sash that I've been longing for and im really loving it so far. Well worth the gil spent to get it.
~Also because im suffering the white box syndrome I mainly got more of HQ pieces to replace the NQ ones I owned. All seems left to do is finish getting rest of my stuff for my convert set (hedgehog bomb: yes please!), and rest of the stuff for my MND set. I think otherwise most what I'd want is from endgame type things.
As for PLD well it got mainly more HQ stuff and some other things like Cerberous Mantle. Now for it seems just endgame stuff as well.
~And also working on my next job I love, Ninja. And it of course got a lot of loving as well. PCC which im also using on PLD because I just dig the ACC. Fuma boots because I finally gave up on that stingy NM ever dropping. Emperor's Hairpin for that same reason. And amazingly in that same week, I was doing nyzul isle and got the ??? boots from leaping lizzy which turned into her drop as well O.o. So all in all I got a lot nice new things, but im not going list everything XD.
Im really loving Ninja though. I think I now have an addiction to tank jobs. Just between PLD being the tank that can take anything, and NIN being the one can avoid the hits, it just seems so much fun to me. Also im lvling WHM just because I realized alot what I already owned for RDM could cross over to being used for WHM, and because I wanted to help my LS leader out. She was mainly the only WHM we had in our LS full time (we have others but their usually busy), and she ends up being the one has to tele everyone, run to raise everyone, etc. so I figured why not lvl it and give her a break. Its also a pretty decent job. I think from experience of main healing on RDM I wont fail at WHM lol.
~So currently jobs are as following: RDM and PLD 75 (of course :x), NIN 68 (my goal is ding it to 70 atleast by end this week), WHM 52.
So I also joined this amazing endgame LS. And how I ended up in it was actually pretty interesting story. See the first social LS I was ever in was lead by a guy named Emurei. So I was in that LS I'd say for over 8-9 months before he ended up taking a long break from the game, and I ended up moving on to Mini Mart the LS im in now. Well not too long ago while I was standing in town being bored as per usual, I ended up seeing him. Which was a shock for me because it'd been almost a year and half since I had seen him. And I remember from the first social LS I was in with him that he also helped in LoTu. And I use to think how I always wanted to be in that LS because they were always so well runned, a good all around endgame LS, and seem to be pretty well respected on my server. So after we talked for a bit, and me telling him how much I had changed since he last seen me (I want to say I was lvl 50 RDM when he took his break), he asked if I wanted to give Dynamis a try with LoTu's alternate shell for Dyna. So I waas like sure why not. Especially since it was a dyna shell that could work around my random and crazy work schedule.
And thats were I fell in love with the LS. First its nice to have one that understands my schedule, and then its the fact they have always been so friendly and nice since day 1. Infact my first night there, I went to Dynamis-Sandy and got my first relic ever, make that first 2 pieces lol. RDM and PLD. Which was a shock since most LSes I known had always ran by point system or something to that nature, so to find LS actually let me lot on my first night was nice. And then I continued doing runs with them and actually got my first set of wins, and worked onto more relic. Im currently 4/5 RDM, 1/5 PLD, 1/5 NIN, 2/5 WHM, 1/5 SCH, 1/5 BRD. Im excitied at the idea getting my RDM hat and have been crossing my fingers every run we do in Xarca lol.
So after my probation period was done in their Dyna LS they accepted me into main endgame LS, LoTu, which has been great experience so far. I've got to try out ANNMs, ZNMs (I had minor experiences with these), and now finally getting back into sky. Which by the way I finally got my first drop from sky ever. Aquarian Abjuration legs! I think my WHM is going to ding 75 into some really nice stuff lol. I'm really enjoying doing all this new stuff and learning things. I'd like to try HNMs sometime just to see what its like and to try and get chance at some the gear I want from them. As well as get into Einherjar and Limbus. Trying work on getting Sea access right now since thats only thing mission wise holding me back. But as those who know me, know im worst procrastinator when comes to doing missions <.< >.>. I was just never one for doing that kind of stuff, much less enjoying it. But the idea of owning Rajas Ring sounds more and more appealing everyday. Also trying to get a decent Nyzul Isle static going so I can finally have Death Blossom and Atonement, both which I really need. I'd previously only done Nyzul Isle purely just to try and get the stuff from there. And so far own Goliard Body and Askar Boots.
I've also been practicing my RDM/NIN stuff since I finally got around to getting it up to being able sub it. While im not the best, im starting to learn some of it. I did my first solo ever a few weeks back, killing Prime vs. of Shiva. It was a pretty easy fight, and actually fun to do. And I went in there discovering I was a nub who never bought barblizzard. But it was fun to do and I cant wait for my chance at the other Prime's.
Thats really all I can think of to update on so far. It being 12:46 AM and im suppose to be paying attention, I think I'll end my lengthy blog here. But I promise to get back to blogging soon as I really do miss doing it. And maybe put up some nice SSes that arent from my ps2.

Goodies - IRL and Ingame :D
So the reason for lack of posting has been the fact I've been trying to move from my old place to my mom's. Not only am I moving to a bigger room, but I finally leave behind my satellite internet! 2 years of playing ffxi on satellite internet, and I have discovered just how much pain and torture I went through lol. From the lag of going into zones, to freezing up in bcnms, to getting stuck after doing an ISNM and calling a GM, to my personal fave...telling all my friends when im doing Nyzul Isle runs to let me stay at the rune because me doing lamps with that kind of lag was a joke. Seriously I use to have people on the game that would accuse me of hacking (mind you I play on ps2) because my lag caused me to appear like I was jumping across the screen alot. You'd see me stand in one spot, then according to my friends it was like I'd poof and appear a few steps ahead. But no more!
I now live with the wonderful gift that is DSL. As well as a brand new laptop! And im giving serious consideration to ordering the game for my laptop since my PS2 not only handled almost 5 years worth of FFXI from my ex, but the 2 years of me playing it, and I think soon it shall go to that big hardware heaven in the sky. So I figure I might as well see what I've been missing out on for so long. That and it'd be nice to share more screenshots in my posts instead the crap ones I can take on the PS2.
As for things in-game, I have been working on meriting RDM and PLD more. Trying to finish capping Enfeebling on RDM first since I realized that trying to spread my merits out is taking too long and that it'd be much easier to work on 1 area at a time. I spent my first set of merits ever on Chivalry in PLD. And also got myself a nice pair of sexy Askar Gambieras for my PLD to wear. I figure they'll be something nice to idle in til I can finally start working on relic and other gear I'd really like.
I'm beginning to discover the downside to most endgame is that RL always seems to find a way to conflict with an endgame LS schedule. For so long I've wanted to get RDM and PLD relic, but it always seem that my work got in the way. See my rl job only gives me weekly schedules. And I never have the same days off. And finally, the hard blow lol, I work a 3 PM to 9:30 PM EST shift. Which pretty much means that my chances of doing Endgame are slim to none seeing as I never know what days I can go, and im never sure if I can constantly show up and/or be on time. But luckily I've found a few LSes I'm interested in. Now the only problem is finding a day im off where they do something I can go to lol. I'm hoping to get my RDM and PLD properly geared, instead the mix and match stuff I've got so far. Which don't get me wrong, I don't think the gear makes the player. I've always been one of those who strongly believes that a player can be just as good wearing AF and whatever else, as those who have the gil to get the really expensive gear and who have the option of relic, etc.
And finally, my newest addiction and what has been keeping me busy, lvling NIN. It started off as something to level with my boyfriend's SAM, and as a way to finish my /nin sub. And then it became an addiction for me. It's also pretty nice having a boyfriend whose already got 75 NIN and who can educate me in everything I need to know. So far im discovering that shadow-tanking is a whole new experience from how I played on PLD. And im also learning how to maintain hate without all my abilities I could rely on when I was PLD. I'd say im doing decent so far, I finally hit 54 last night. But I know that the real test of what I've learn will come from the evil bird parties.
And that about sums up what I've been busy with really. Just wanted to add a new update and to also add that im still working on my next addition to my role-play of Nindo. It's just going to take longer seeing as im moving all my information and stuff from my old PC to my laptop. Hope to get back to posting more often seeing as I now have reliable internet.
